In-School: Taylor is studious, polite, and earnest, often earning the approval of his teachers, if not necessarily their recognition. He's pretty quick on the uptake, but sometimes has trouble focusing - this, combined with his semi-frequent struggles with self-discipline, can often lead to hours spent on homework assignments and projects that should have taken half the time. He tests well and works well with others, but is rarely one to take on positions of leadership. Overall, he manages above-average grades, but tends to fade into the background for both his fellow classmates and his teachers due to his lack of any distinguishing achievements or behaviors.
After School: Taylor is generous with his time, his affections, and his possessions. He is open and honest almost to a fault, and tends to win others over easily with his friendly, gentle demeanor. Despite this, he seems to have very few close friends. Taylor is highly expressive and can become almost overwhelmingly enthusiastic about his passions - startling, considering that most of his hobbies are outrageously dull. Lately, he's been a bit preoccupied with researching colleges, and has begun searching for part-time work to build his resume. He's notorious for wandering around campus to offer samples of the Baking Club's latest confections to any interested passers-by.
Appearance (HS): Taylor cuts his short, choppy red hair himself, and it shows - his bangs fall unevenly into his eyes, and the hair that tickles the back of his neck visibly varies in length. Still, it works, in an oddly endearing kind of way, and it means it's less obvious when he doesn't have time to comb it, or when he's been tousling it in frustration. He has warm, expressive light brown eyes, and stands about 5'7" in height, having stopped growing sometime last year, to his chagrin. His hips are fairly wide, and his thighs are much thicker than he'd like, but the rest of him is scrawny and soft, save the tiny bit of pudge around his midsection, earned from "sampling" far too many of the projects from Baking Club. Both of his earlobes are pierced, and he usually wears a simple silver stud in each. Taylor's wardrobe consists mostly of jeans and loose T-shirts and sweatshirts - he adamantly refuses to wear tanktops or anything too form-fitting.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Taylor's strengths lie in his overwhelming ability to empathize with and understand others, and the laser-focused intensity with which he can pursue things he is passionate about. Taylor is an excellent mediator, both in his own conflicts and in the disputes of others, and is especially skilled at soothing raised tempers and frayed nerves. He is also incredibly patient, and has a surprising talent for remembering mundane facts.

His face is remarkably expressive, making it difficult for him to conceal anything and making him an especially shoddy liar.
